Cal. 243 Win. S# 67846. Bbl. 22" with factory sights; hooded ramped silver bead at muzzle and folding leaf at rear. Mfg. 1958 (1955-1973) having checkered stock with factory 1" sling swivels, clover leaf rear tang, checkered plastic buttplate and steel contoured grip cap. Bausch & Lomb BalVar 8 scope set to include B&L adjustable base; tapered crosshair reticle with 2 1/2-8 power. MAGS: 1 Winchester marked 4 rd. without caliber marking, stamped steel follower and recessed arrow on base. CONDITION: very good appearance with minimal bluing wear plus some light scratches on barrel near muzzle. Light handling marks and scratches on stock plus nicely repaired break on left side just forward of checking having faint line remaining; thin coat of extra finish applied. Minimal light marks on scope exterior; useable optics but with numerous light spots as is common with vintage Rochester B&L scopes due to flat black interior coating flaking off and collecting on its reticle lens.
